Care work is the region's steadiest employment. These courses take you from a first qualification to specialist practice, with 120 hours of placement arranged with a real provider and subsidies that mean most students never pay the full fee.

Funded training
How the subsidies work
Most students study these courses on a Queensland Government subsidy. Career Start covers the Certificate III, with fee-free traineeships for eligible trainees. Career Boost covers the certificate IV level and up to two skill sets, even if you already hold a certificate IV or higher.
