For workplaces where resuscitation involves equipment: oxygen therapy, airway adjuncts, suction and pulse oximetry, delivered to the assessed national standard. In this region that means dive and snorkel operators, pools and aquatic centres, remote worksites, event medical teams and workplace emergency response crews.
The course builds on CPR competence and trains you to run a resuscitation with oxygen equipment until paramedics take over, including the maintenance and checks that keep the kit reliable.
What you receive
On successful completion, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy, issued by National College of Skills (RTO 32474).
Operators certifying a crew: call 07 4098 1228. This course runs best as a private group session with your own equipment in the room.
