HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

The annual CPR refresher. Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines recommend refreshing CPR skills every 12 months. This express session keeps a whole workplace current in a couple of hours, covering compressions, rescue breaths and defibrillator use to the assessed national standard.

You complete three short online modules before you attend, so the in-person session is all hands-on technique, practice and assessment.

Sessions run at our Mossman training rooms, 11 Johnston Road. Wear clothes you can kneel in and arrive on time; we can't admit latecomers once assessment begins.

What you receive

On successful completion, a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, issued by National College of Skills (RTO 32474), usually on the same day.

Requirements

Assessment includes 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin on the floor. If you're unsure whether that's physically workable for you, call us before booking.
