HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting

HLTAID012Nationally recognised training

The first aid certificate for people who work with children. HLTAID012 covers everything in a standard first aid course and then goes where educators need it to: infant and child CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma emergencies in young children, and the incident, notification and record-keeping obligations education and care services carry.

It's the unit designed for the first aid requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations: the certificate childcare centres, kindergartens, OSHC services and family day care educators are asked for. [VERIFY: confirm regulator/ACECQA acceptance wording — licensing-outcome claims require confirmation before publishing.]

Sessions

We run HLTAID012 for education and care services on demand. Most services book a private session so the whole team certifies together, at your service after hours or at our Mossman training rooms. Individual educators can register interest and we'll place you in the next scheduled session.
